Shabana Ahmad
(CPNP) Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
Brief info
Shabana Ahmad was born on the east coast and has lived in several states but has called California home for over 13 years. She has 10 years of adult ICU experience working through the pandemic. Mrs. Ahmad is also married to a former ICU nurse – they met on their unit and have a son together. Mrs. Ahmad spends her free time exploring new restaurants, chasing her toddler, hiking, spending time outdoors, going on road trips and visiting national parks. Mrs. Ahmad earned her BSN in nursing from West Coast University and her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with a focus as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from Loma Linda University. Her goal for her patients is to find balance among the chaos of life as she does daily. She managed to succeed in graduate school while working full time as a bedside ICU nurse, working through the pandemic with the area’s sickest patients, got married and had 2 wedding ceremonies, and gave birth to her son. She is enjoying the slower pace of life these days and is looking forward to caring for the community in her new role.
