Well Child Visit- The Early Years 0-3y

Our well visits are the opportunity for our physicians to perform a complete physical examination. Our caring pediatricians will conduct each part of the exam with compassion and understanding, making each visit as comfortable as possible. We follow the American Academy of Pediatrics’ recommended schedule for well child care. During the first three years of life, our primary focus during well visits is to monitor each child’s growth and development. We use these visits as a chance to identify and treat developmental or medical problems, give routine childhood immunizations and provide education and guidance to parents. Topics we commonly discuss include nutrition, sleep questions, speech development, toilet training, school readiness, sibling and family issues, as well as the normal developmental expectations for each stage of early childhood.
