Slowly getting back to normal… finally!
June 15 is an exciting milestone for Californians, with state plans to loosen most of the COVID-19 safety restrictions. Take a look at the following updates.

- As of June 15, for most businesses and activities, capacity and distancing restrictions will be lifted.
- Mega events will either require or recommend vaccination or testing requirements for participants until October 1st
- Masking requirements:
- Fully vaccinated persons: Face masks not required outdoors. Masks are still required indoors when outside of one’s home except when, 1) with other fully vaccinated persons or 2) in a single household including low risk for severe disease, unvaccinated persons.
- Unvaccinated persons: Face masks required outdoors when unable to maintain physical distancing such as in crowded areas, festivals, concerts, sports events, or large gatherings
- Children ages 2 and younger are not required to wear a mask
- Riverside county remains in the moderate risk level tier based on COVID-19 positivity rate with metrics accounting for about 2 new positive cases per day per 100 thousand people.
